Camping Holidays in Corrèze, Limousin, Dordogne

Corrèze is one of the three départements, or counties, of the Limousin region and is slightly to the southeast of the Haute-Vienne of which Limoges is the capital.
This is an excellent holiday area and much favoured by Brits and other north Europeans for camping holidays, walking, hiking and cycling. The Limousin region where Corrèze is lies directly to the east of the Dordogne.
This département is landlocked so you won't see the beach so if that isn't a priority then this area is pretty much a little bit of Heaven. No beach but masses of scenery and this is just the place for those who adore the outdoor life.
You are set in a National Park here which really needs to be walked and explored as there is a whole lot of nature to be seen, and the park is actually only about 800 metres from the pretty little town of Chamberet which is well worth seeing as it holds a great deal of interest.
The Vezere, a fast and quite fierce river, runs through the town and you can sit and watch as the experts sweep down in their canoes and kayaks.
Getting to the Dordogne is fairly easy. If you drive from Le Havre, Caen, Cherbourg or St Malo then all you have to do is to follow the signs for Bordeaux, turning off to your designated destination when you get near the city in the Corrèze.
We do not currently have any accommodation in Corrèze. We do however have several campsites to choose from in the nearby Dordogne. For a quote, select France and region Dordogne in the booking engine to the right.
