Camping Holidays in Argelès sur Mer

Argelès-sur-Mer is located on the coast, several km south of Perpignan in the Languedoc-Roussillon and is just a hop and a jump from the French/Spanish border. Many of our campsites in Argelès sur Mer are close to the region’s best beaches, towns and historical sites.

We have several campsites in or close to Argelès - Camping La Siréne, Le Soleil, Le Bois de Valmarie, Hippocampe & Camping La Chapelle. All offer tent and mobile home accommodation.

Camping Le Bois de Valmarie

Set on a hillside just across the road from Le Racou beach, Le Bois de Valmaire is wonderfully located 2km from Argeles Plage.

The waterpark features a split-level pool linked by waterfalls, waterchutes and waterslides with pool areas available for younger children to splash about and play.

Available sporting activities include tennis and table tennis with diving lessons possible from April - September. There are 2 playgrounds and cycle hire (daily or weekly) is also available at the park.

The modern, family restaurant enjoys and outdoor terrace and also offers a takeaway service. The snack bar is open from June - August.

Camping La Sirène

Located just over 1km from the nearest beach, La Sirène is an ideal holiday destination for active families and offers a superb range of activities and facilities.

The tropical pool complex boasts several waterslides and chutes which are even colour coded for difficulty! White is easy, blue is medium and black is difficult. Sun terraces provide a great place for sunbathing and relaxing.

There is a restaurant (which also provide food to takeaway) and also a Creperie. You'll also find a supermarket and shop at the park.

Camping Hippocampe

Hippocampe is a small park which has a lively atmosphere and an impressive array of activities nearby.

A sandy beach is just 1km away whilst onsite there's a fantastic pool complex with waterchutes and slides al surrounded by tree-lined sun terraces and grassy areas from which to sunbathe.

Guests at Hippocampe have access to a range of watersports and evening entertainment at the park's larger sister site 'La Sirène' which is located just across the road. Please note some noise from the road and evening entertainment at La Sirene can sometimes be heard.

Although guests may dine in the restaurant across the road, thre is a takeaway onsite as well as small bar.

Camping Le Soleil

Le Soleil is a popular choice for those looking for a lively holiday and enjoys direct beach access.

The central focus of the campsite is the impressive Californian style swimming pool complex surrounded by sun terraces. It also has a shallow section which is ideal for toddlers & younger children.

Diving lessons are available from June - mid September (8 yrs & over) with football, basketball, volleyball and a gym all available onsite.

The restaurant is located close to the entrance of the site and there is a lively night bar open from end of April - late September located near the beach. A smaller bar is located next to the pool.

Camping La Chapelle

La Chapelle is well situated just 200m from the nearest beach 'Plage du Sud', in the centre of Argelès Plage and is ideal for those who want to take advantage of the local shops, bars and restaurants.

There are several swimming pools onsite including a covered pool, waterslide and waterchute. There is a children's playground and mini golf and cycle hire are both available close to the campsite.

A snack bar and takeaway are onsite with numerous restaurants available in the nearby town centre.
