Camping in Holidays in the Jura Region
The Jura region is one of France's hidden gems and is situated between Burgundy to the West and Switzerland to the East. There are many stunning towns and cities to discover with Champagnole one of the most picturesque places you're likely to see. Lovers of fine food and wine should visit Dijon, Beaune and Chablis.

Camping La Pergola - Lac de Chalain

Camping La Pergola is set on the banks of the Lac de Chalain and is surrounded by beautiful countryside.
The park enjoys a superb location alongside the lake where you can hire boats and pedalos.
The well-maintained facilities include a fantastic pool complex complete with a sunbathing area and a bar/restaurant terrace. T
here is also a pool for toddlers which also has two small slides. Guests can also make use of the lakeside beach which is popular for swimming and canoeing.
The mini market and main shop are open all season with entertainment available during the summer months.
Camping Domaine de Chalain - Lac de Chalain

Domaine de Chalain is an ideal choice for those who enjoy outdoor activities with its lakeside setting and woodland backdrop.
Located close to the spectacular Cascades de Herisson waterfalls, the park benefits from a pool complex with waterslides, children's pool, jacuzzi and heated indoor pool.
There's also an adjoining lakeside beach which as well as sunbathing, is great for swimming, fishing, canoeing or relaxing on a pedalo!
Onsite there is a mini market and shop, a restaurant serving regional specialities, a take away and a bar. During the summer months, there's a children's disco and entertainment.
Camping Le Val de Bonnal - Rougemont

Camping Le Val de Bonnal is a real gem and a great place from which to explore the area or enjoy a relaxing break in the countryside.
The real draw of this park are its natural lakes - one of which has its own beach.
If the lakes weren't enouh, there's also a fantastic pool complex with waterslides including a smaller pool for younger children.
Also onsite there's a mini market and main shop plus a restaurant, snack bar and take away.
During the summer months there are plenty of organised activities and musical evenings for all the family to enjoy.

Cascades du Hérrisson: A fantastical series of waterfalls which drop almost 2000 feet in less than two miles. You can follow the marked path through the forest forsome incredible outstanding views. This is so popular it is sure and certain to be one of the highlights of any Jura camping holiday.
Baume-les-Messieurs: This is a glaciated canyon which leads to an amazing system of caves and underground lakes in a breathtaking village setting.
Besançon: Besançon is a Roman town known for watch and clock making. It has a citadel at the centre of the town which offers incredible views over the town.
Lons-le-Saunier: A pretty little thermal town set in the heart of the region. It was founded in 1892 and the thermal spa is still in operation today offering a range of relaxing treatments.
