Camping Holidays in the Cevennes Region of France
The Cevennes region one of the best preserved areas of France with much of it having being classified as a national park. The area is a maze of deep valleys and winding rivers.
We have two campsites available to book in the Cevennnes - Camping Le Ranc Davaine and Camping Les Ranchisses.

Camping Le Ranc Davaine - St Alban

Le Ranc Davaine is is just 5km from the town of St Alban, is an ideal choice for families who like the outdoors and is within easy reach of both the Cevennes and Ardeche regions of France.
The park and has a waterpark with covered pool, jacuzzis, waterslides and sauna. A private path also leads to the nearby riverside beach.
It can become quite lively during the high season. Dine in the family restaurant next to the pool, a bit at the pizzeria or a take-away to enjoy back at your accommodation.
For a day out, why not try 'La Ferme aux Crocodile' in Pierrelatte (just over an hour's drive away) which houses 500 crocodiles in a gigantic tropical greenhouse.
There is also the aquatropic park which is a tropical waterpark with wave machine, slides and a crazy river.
Camping Les Ranchisses - l'Argentière

Les Ranchisses is a park that has something for everyone and is located close to the beautiful town of l'Argentière, approx 45km from Montelimar.
Available activities include canoeing, walking and archery plus lots of organised actitivites for children (may only be available during high season).
There's lots to discover in the local area - by foot or by bike, or even canoe!
Onsite, theres lots of space around the heated outdoor pools and there's also a new wellness centre with fitness room.
The grill restaurant is open from June - September (evenings only in low season) and there is also a snack bar (open in July and August) as well as a takeaway.
The bar is open from mid-April and is located near the pool.
Please note that much of the accommodation at the park is located on steep terraces. This may not be suitable for people with reduced mobility.

Avignon (Cévennes)
With its massive ramparts, attractive 12th Century bridge, majestic 14th Century Palais des Papes, statues, museums, and cobbled streets, Avignon is nothing short of breathtaking. Exceptionally cosmopolitan, the city was once a leading artistic centre, something that can be witnessed through the lavishly decorated buildings that adorn its streets. Take in the views from the top of the ramparts. Enjoy a leisurely stroll down the stylish Rue Joseph Vernet. And, if visiting between mid July and early August, soak up the street theatre that accompanies the annual Festival d’Avignon.
Orange (Cévennes)
The town has a richly decorated Roman triumphal arch and a splendidly preserved Roman theatre that is still used for shows today.
