Camping Holidays in Canet-Plage, Languedoc-Roussillon

Located in the far south of France and the Languedoc region, Canet-Plage benefits from the gentle blue waters of the Mediterranean and is a popular choice for a camping holiday. Approx 12 kms away from the resort is the city of Perpignan which boast a distincly rich Spanish flavour thanks to its proximity to the Spanish border.

We have 2 campsites to choose from in Canet-Plage, Camping Mar Estang and Camping Le Brasilia.

Mar Estang boasts an enviable location close to a sandy beach and just a short walk from the centre of Canet-Plage with its many bars and restaurants.

As well as being a great place for a fantastic beach holiday, Mar Estang has a swimming pool complex with waterslide and waterchute and smaller, shallower pools for younger children.

Diving lessons are available in July and August with other sporting activities including tennis, basketball and a gym along with 3 children's playgrounds. Cycle hire is available (daily or weekly rates) and is a great way of going off-park to discover the local area.

The nearest beach is just 100m from the campsite and it enjoys direct acces to a lake.

Located in the centre of the campsite, the restaurant serves both local and international cuisine and is open from late April to mid September. There are two bars - one in the nightclub and one in the centre of the site.

Camping Le Brasilia

Camping Le Brasilia is one of the best sites in the region and provides the ideal location for a lively beach holiday.

Located 13km from Perpignan, just a short walk from the centre of Canet Plage and boastin direct beach access, this site has something for everyone.

A new waterpark has been added and is a great addition to the exisiting pool complex. There are 4 waterslides to enjoy as well as a smaller pool for toddlers to play and swim. The sun terraces make a great place for sunbathing and relaxing.

Other onsite activities include football (5-a-side), badminton, basketball, volleyball, a gym and archery. There are two children's playgrounds and horse-riding is available 3km from the park.

Located opposite the reception, the restaurant is modern and has a family atmosphere. A snack bar and takeaway are also available and the Pizzeria is open from June - August.

Le Brasilia has an excellent shopping complex with a small supermarket, shops open all season - including a hairdressers, newsagent and wine shop.
