Camping La Garangeoire

The fantastic Camping La Garangeoire sits in unspoilt countryside in the spacious grounds of a private chateau yet is just 15 minutes from some of the best Vendéen beaches!

Whilst the park enjoys a peaceful atmosphere, there is lots to do during your holiday including a wonderful pool complex complete with waterlides and waterchutes. There is also a smaller pool and slide for toddlers.

The restaurant is adjacent to the pool area and is open from early May - end August. There's also a takeaway (open May-Sept) as well as a large bar. The mini market is ideal for any essentials you may have forgotten and is also open from May to September.

During the high season there's a whole range of family entertainment, both during the day and on an evening including discos, quizzes, live music and dance shows.

Camping La Forêt

Camping La Forêt is set in the grounds of a chateau close to the village of St Julien des Landes.

The campsite has a wealth of activities on offer including swmming pools with waterslides and a smaller pool with small slide for younger children, a 5-hole mini golf course and three lakes!

There's also tennis, table tennis, football and volleyball availale onsite.

The restaurant serves regional specialities and is open in July and August. A pizzeria is open from May to September as well as a takeaway open from July-September. There is a shop onsite (Jul-Aug) with a shop located in the village, a short distance away from the park.

Accommodation is set on lovely, shady pitches surrounded by parkland and wide open spaces.

Le Grand Parc du Puy du Fou

A reconstruction of an 18th century village with villagers in costume. The ruins of a 13th century chateau where you can watch a fabulous falconry display or see the Vikings at war. You can spend hours wandering the grounds and gardens. The evening show is an incredible open-air night show with 850 people and 50 horsemen.

Aquarium La Rochelle

Large aquarium with fish from around the world. An array of different viewing methods from tanks, torch pools and panoramic tunnels.

Zoo des Sables d'Olonne

Only a short distance from the enormous Atlantic beaches, the zoo at Les Sables d'Olonne is the home to hundreds of animals living in a luxurious setting. Animals include penguins, monkeys, otters, lions, tigers and pandas.
