How Do I Book a Holiday?

The price you are quoted includes your chosen accommodation (Tent, 2 or 3 bedroom mobile home), a compulsory equipment damage waiver of £15 per party and all amenities including gas, water and electricity.

Where Can We Go?

We feature some of the best campsites in Europe. The majority of parks are in France but you can also choose from sites in Holland, Spain, Italy, Switzerland, Austria, Croatia, Luxembourg and Portugal.

What Day Can We Arrive on?

All our holidays are tailored to suit customer needs. Start your holiday on any day of the week, and as long you as stay a minimum of 3 nights, you can book up to 21 nights online. Please call us if you wish to stay for a longer duration.

When Should We Travel?

At any time that suits you. Families with pre-school children may prefer May, June or September when the campsites are a bit quieter while July & August of course is peak season for families with school age children. South of France & Spain are ideal destinations for late Summer sun while sites near Paris and other theme parks are open for much of the year.

What Travel Options Are There?

If you wish to drive to your chosen campsite then we have a wide range of ferry and Eurotunnel crossings available for you to book. This can be added to your booking once your have selected your accommodation. If you wish to book a ferry separately then click here for further information.

What To Pack

Do We Need To Take Bedding?

You will be provided with pillows and blankets in your accommodation. You also have the option to add bed linen hire (sheets, pillowcases & towels) - available for all mobile homes. We also advise that you have warm bedclothes and/or extra blankets or a duvet if you are travelling out of season as mobile homes only have heaters in the living area.

Do We Need Groceries?

If you're driving then it's a good idea to pack some basics with you in the car to keep you going when you first arrive - especially if it's late or the shops are closed. We suggest tea, coffee, sugar, UHT milk, a few tinned foods like beans or soup, washing up liquid, a cloth, tea towel & towels. Toilet paper is included in all accommodation to start off your holiday and so is no longer part of any of the welcome packs.

If you want to save room then you could consider a Standard Welcome Pack (£12) which includes the following:

    • Salt & pepper (8 sachets each)
    • 2 x bottles of water (500ml each)

    You can also opt for an essentials welcome pack for £3 which includes: Box of matches, Cleaning sponge, Dish cloth, Tea towel, Bin Liner, Washing up liquid (125ml), All purpose cleaner (125ml) & Soap. Also for £3 you can reserve a 'toiletries pack' which includes: Shower gel (50ml), Shampoo (50ml), Conditioner (50ml) & Soap (15g)

    Please reserve at least 2 weeks before you travel to guarantee availability. Contents may vary. Not available at sites in Switzerland, Croatia, Sicily or Portugal.

    What Should We Bring For Our Baby?

    We have free hire of travel cots, baby baths & high chairs but please request these at the time of booking. Note that cot bedding is not provided so ensure that you either bring some with you or pre book cot linen for £6.

    We also recommend you pack your usual brand of baby milk/food as well as a sun hat, sun cream and a pushchair.

On Holiday

What Happens On My Arrival At The Site?

On arrival at your campsite please head to the Keycamp and/or Eurocamp reception. They will usually be located near the main site entrance.

Please note that we do not send out tickets or other travel documentation. You will receive a 'local guide document' by email before you travel. This includes arrival directions, arrival procedure and onsite facilities as well as details of local tourist attractions. On arrival simply hand your email confirmation to the courier who will complete your check-in.

Your tent or mobile home will be available from 3pm onwards. If you arrive earlier (and there is no courier available, please advise the main site reception that you have arrived. You will be able to use the onsite facilities until your accommodation is ready.

We Will Be Arriving Late, Is This A Problem?

You should plan to arrive by 8pm. If you arrive after 10pm or if the couriers have finished for the day, as long as you have advised the couriers of your estimated time of arrival, you will find at reception details of where to find your accommodation on the parc. It will be left unlocked with the keys inside and the couriers will come to meet you the following morning. Campsite barriers/gates are usually lowered/closed during the night, so you may have to leave you car outside at this time and enter on foot. You will be able to park your car next to your accommodation the next morning.

What Are The Campsite Rules?

We ask that all guests on site are considerate of other holidaymakers and that you are quiet between 10pm - 7am. Vehicles are not allowed through the sites during this time. You can find our further holiday information here

Are The Swimming Pools Supervised?

Not all campsites have lifeguards on duty. You should also note that those that do may only be onsite during July and August or for a limited time during the day. Please check when booking. We strongly advise that you supervise your children at all times when they are using swimming pools and water chutes. Guest must also ensure that they adhere to the conditions of use and age/height restrictions according to the site they are staying at.

Are Facilities Available All Season?

Most campsites offer a range of facilities and activities. Please note however that some of these may be dependant on the weather, demand or other regulations. Certain activities may only be available during the high season. If there is a service of facility you require during your holiday, please check at the time of booking.

At some sites guests are required to wear a wristband, and some pools and facilities may be payable - check at time of booking.

Will We Have To Pay A Deposit On Arrival?

No. All our prices include a compulsory £15 equipment damage waiver which avoids you having to pay a £100 deposit on arrival and also prevents you having to pay in the event that equipment is lost or damaged during your stay.

What Happens On Our Departure?

You need to vacate your accommodation by 10am in order to leave time for the accommodation to be thoroughly cleaned for the next guests. Please try to leave the accommodation reasonably tidy, ensuring you have packed up all of your belongings, and let the couriers know if anything needs to be replaced.

If you are leaving the site early, leave your mobile home key in the unit, and check with the couriers beforehand what time the site barrier opens in the morning; it may be necessary to leave your car outside the barrier overnight. If you don't need to leave until later on in the day you will still need to vacate your accommodation, however you are welcome to use the site facilities until you leave.

Kids Clubs

Can We Book Kids Clubs In Advance?

All clubs operate on a first come, first served basis and are not able to be booked in advance. Once you arrive onsite, liaise with the dedicated children's courier who will be able to advise on what sessions are available.

What Times Of The Day Are Sessions Run?

There will normally be a morning and an afternoon session each lasting approximately 2½ hours every day apart from Tuesday, exact times arranged by the couriers. Base Club also runs offsite activities and evening sessions. Please check the board at reception or club tent for confirmed session times and activities, these are updated daily.

All all children must be collected at the appointed time. Children are signed in and out and so a responsible adult must be present at this time (children 10 years and over can sign themselves in and out of sessions providing this had been pre-agreed by the parent).

Can My Child Take Part In The Site's Own Club?

Yes, all children at the campsite are welcome to join in. Activities are similar to the English-run clubs by the couriers, the only real difference is that they will be in a multi-lingual group.
