Holiday car hire in the UK, Europe, Australia, NZ and USA

As you must be aware by now, our site JCF, is based on the specific topic of camping in France, but we have been talking to others in the leisure industry of late who have persuaded us to add a page or two for car hire, especially holiday car hire, which is needed far more often that we had realised.

Living in the UK Midlands is bad enough when we take the car to France on a camping or mobile home holiday as the drive to Poole is nigh on 5 hours for us, depending on the traffic.

We were reminded on holiday recently when we met up with some others staying near to our mobile in Quiberon, South West Brittany, some of whom were from Scotland and the others from Southern Ireland. The former had a dreadfully long drive to the southern port of Poole and then across the channel to St Malo, the same route which we took, whilst the Irish family had 20 + hours on a ferry!

How much simpler it would have been for all three groups to have flown over to France and taken a hire car for a couple of weeks or so.

That being the case, we are now seriously thinking about holiday car hire ourselves for the next trip to mainland Europe, and of course, this can be booked online these days, and one such specialist is Car hire Edinburgh with whom you can compare care hire in more than 4000 locations including the best deal for car hire at Edinburgh airport.
