Camping Holidays on the Cote d'Azur
Whilst many think of the Cote d'Azur as a place for the rich and famous and with chic, glamorous resorts, the region it is also a holiday destination which suits even the most modest of budgets!
As well as the glorious Mediterranean sunshine, there's a wealth of hidden villages to discover, beautiful countryside & nature to see and watersports to try!

Camping Pachacaïd - Canadel

The Pachacaid campsite is located just 17km from St Tropez and enjoys a steeply terraced woodland setting.
Open from mid June until the end of August, the Niagara swimming pool complex is something quite impressive (customers are entitled to free access at certain times)
There are seven different waterchutes and slides as well as a children's paddling pool, 2 jacuzzis and a climbing wall.
There's a restaurant, snack bar and takeaway as well as a large bar plus a gift shop and mini market onsite.
Camping La Baume - Fréjus

The La Baume campsite is a large, lively park located in the popular resort of Fréjus and only 5km from the beach.
Everyone will love the swimming pools as well as the waterchutes and waterslides, one of which lands in a lovely lagoon-style pool. There's also a small pool available for babies and toddlers.
There's a traditional French restaurant which overlooks the pool and a large bar with separate dance floor and stage for entertainment.
Camping Douce Quiétude - St Raphaël

Douce Quiétude is a lovely family park located near St Raphaël and is great for families with toddlers or young children during low season and families of all ages during the more lively summer months!
There's a waterslide and chute along with a smaller pool suitable for younger children.
There's a friendly, family-run restaurant open from the end of March - end of September in addition to the snack bar and takeaway.

Parc Zoologique de Fréjus
Established in 1971 on 50 acres of natural Mediterranean woodland. Discover more than 130 different species from all of the continents, from mammals to birds and reptiles. Various exhibitions by the trainees encourage audience participation.
Getting to the Cote d'Azur
This is much the same as for Languedoc and Provence. The most suitable ferry crossing is Dover - Calais from where you need to get onto the A26 autoroute and head for Reims.
Follow signs for the cities like Dijon, Macon, Lyon and further south the same road takes you directly into St Raphael in the heart of the French Riviera. You will receive directions to your chosen campsite with your booking confirmation.
