Camping Holidays withToddlers & Young Children

When travelling or going on holiday with a toddler or young children, it can be difficult choosing not only your accommodation but your destination too.
How long is the drive from the ferry port to the campsite? What is there for kids to do? Is it safe?
With that in mind, we have several specially selected campsites around France which are considered to be suitable for families with toddlers and young children
What makes a Campsite Toddler-Friendly?
 'Toddler-Friendly' Campsite Locations
The Child & Toddler-Friendly' sites have been selected as particularly suitable because they meet some or all of the below criteria:
- May be close to a ferry port so that you don't have far to travel after your ferry crossing.
- Many coastal campsites are located on or close to a beach so there's no need to drive.
- Located close enough to a town to be able to buy 'baby' essentials.
- Many campsites have a pool especially for children so that the little ones can play at their own pace.
- Many campsites have an indoor or covered pool so that there's always something to do - whatever the weather!
- Most campsites have children's play area so that they can play and learn in safe surroundings.
- Most campsites have 'toddler-safe' pitches which are often located on quieter roads, flatter ground and away from lakes and rivers (although these can still be present).
Note: Toddler-friendly pitches can be requested, and although every attempt will be made to accommodate this, requests cannot be guaranteed.
